About Me
Me, Myself & I
Hello, hello! I am Emily the owner of Tom Kitten.
The cattery has been years in the making, planning permission was granted in 2019, the process of the building, licence and finance takes time so I am beyond delighted and proud that the cattery is finally here today.

Growing up I never liked being in a class room and always wanted to be at home on the farm with all my animals. You may see some of my pets when dropping of your feline friend. I have horses, goats, three dogs, two cats, two pet cows, two tortoises and various chickens and ducks. after finishing my A levels I did not want to go to university, I just wanted to get a job and my earn my own money, I currently work part time on another farm alongside running the cattery.
The cattery is just over the hedge from my home ‘The Burrow’ so I always have a view of the cattery and am only seconds away.
Mr Bingley and Mr Darcy

Mr Darcy and Mr Bingley are my own Bengal cats. They are two years old and live in my little home with me but also have free range of the farm. They both have the most beautiful blue eyes and feature in most of my photos. Owning two Bengals I understand their high standards and complex needs, they need plenty of stimulation, they love to chat but also are incredibly affectionate, also in incredibly fussy!
Tom Kitten
When deciding a name for the cattery I had various ideas, I had been tempted to name it after Darcy and Bingley or a name associated with the surrounding area. My favourite childhood author is Beatrix Potter, I grew up with all the books of Peter Rabbit and his friends, I wanted the cattery to reflect my life and upbringing so developing on that Tom Kitten seemed so fitting, and it instantly clicked.
